So we are finally here in Bahrain and the blog is up and running! Unbelievably, I have spent all of nearly two hours thinking of a punchy introduction and I'm beginning to think the years of resistance to social media is finally showing in my inability to write.

We've created this blog as a means to communicate our adventures to friends, loved ones and the world whilst we are abroad for the next several years. We intend to share as much of the foreign culture, quirks and experiences we are exposed to in hope that our worlds appear not so far apart.
