We purposely made a pit stop in Lang Co on the way through from Da Nang to Hue to see its beautiful white sandy beaches but unfortunately for us it rained. Actually the whole experience was eerily creepy as we booked into a deserted resort.

We were basically the only guests on this massive resort, it kind of felt like the plot summary to a B grade horror movie where we would eventually be dismembered and thrown out to sea or worse made to partake in a gruesome humanity experiment a la Saw franchise of which I've neither seen nor will I ever see and frankly I find it hard to understand the appeal...

Damn me and my vivid, overly active and graphic imagination, needless to say I didn't sleep much that night although it may have had something to do with the AC dying. We tried to make the most of it anyway by heading to the beach in spite of the rain before making our way to Hue.
